After ten years clean and sober, Molly Drexler falls off the wagon and drives her Prius through her living room wall. With a hole in the house as big as the hole in their hearts, Molly’s two sisters, mother, father, and wicked stepmother descend on the house for an “intervention” that doesn’t play out the way anyone thought it would. About the Author
Jennifer Hoppe-House is a film and television writer (Nurse Jackie and Damages) and is currently working on her second season as a writer/producer on Netflix’s hit series Grace and Frankie, starring Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda. She began as a playwright in Texas and has written smaller pieces for productions in New York and Austin, one of which was a finalist in the Actors Theatre of Louisville 10-Minute Play Competition. Bad Dog is her first full-length play. Jennifer is a member of The Writers Guild West and the Dramatists Guild of America.
Olney Theatre Center's "Bad Dog" 
I had the pleasure of seeing Bad Dog on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at the Olney Theatre, to a packed house. Where do I start? Olney Theatre, you are a Washington treasure for a reason; fabulous staging and technique, fabulous casting and wonderful portrayal of so many family dynamics and social issues at once. I laughed, wanted to cry, laughed, felt great empathy, laughed, laughed, felt bad about laughing… Go see it, you’ll understand. Wonderful! Great job!
